Past Club Roasts

  • Sometimes we need to change and adjust, sometimes we want to look a little different but something that does not change is our roasting style and love for Ethiopian coffees. to help with the new branding we are providing you with what started our love for coffee and roasting ~ that is the unique notes, aromas, and the history that comes from Ethiopia. this club roast brings coffee from the Guji region with notes of citrus, floral, and a light body that almost reminds you of tea. as usually sip this coffee the way you enjoy. if you want to try something new, test out our pour over recipe below! don’t forget all brews are welcome with our coffee.

  • We love a signle origin because it allows you to experience the magic of a distant land. This roast is a Colombia coffee that has been very exciting and enjoyable in the vast types of brew methods we have been drinking this with. However what is so wonderful about single origins is when you have the chance to taste it as an espresso. We roasted this to our normal origin style roast [medium-light] and noticed some tangy dark chocolate notes paired with dark stonefruit during the malliard reaction. Look forward to some bright &foundational notes to be in your cup. Please share you are notes with the QR code. Happy Brewing!

  • Last roast we highlighted a single origin Guatemala, that brought comforting notes of chocolate and warming spices. This week we partner that same Guatemalan with a sweet and juicy Kenyan. Both of these are roasted to a medium light level to bring out the delicate citrus and sweet notes of the Kenyan coffee, with the Guatemalan giving mellow chocolate notes with an underlying sweetness that we noticed during roasting. Look for some stonefruit, berries, and maybe a slight chocolate covered orange. Lastly, if you can try this as a cortado, a little steamed milk could be fun and can bring out nice rich and creamy notes.

  • Calling all the singles, single orgins that is. This week’s club roast is highlighting the beauty of one of our favorite coffee growing regions in Central America, Guatemala. These coffees tend to have have wonderful grounding notes, that truly remind us of those traditional comforting flavors that we tend to associate with coffee - chocolate, nutty, body driven. Like usual we roasted this on the medium~light side to still bring in sweetness and a little brightness. Have fun sipping on this single origin.

  • Tasting Time: This delightful roast for our coffee club features two enticing 6 oz coffees: Bright & Comfort. The goal of this dynamic duo is to provide you with a wonderful opportunity to explore two distinct spectrums of flavors and hemispheres, all while using the same roast date, yet showcasing completely different and unique flavor profiles. Personally, I absolutely love and savor all types of coffee, and I often say my favorite cup is simply the one I have in my mug at this very moment. However, for you, I encourage you to brew both of these coffees in your usual way and discover which style resonates with your taste buds the most!
